B&B Roustabout was built on a foundation of hard work, perseverance, and generational expertise in the oil and gas industry. The story begins in 1994, when Justin Birchell’s father, Dell, was working on a roustabout crew. Through dedication and opportunity, Dell took over a large contract, leading his own crew and growing the business steadily over the next two decades.
Following in their families' footsteps, Justin Birchell and AJ Burk both started their careers in the oilfield as teenage roughnecks, learning the trade from the ground up. Over the years, they gained hands-on experience in rig operations, pipeline maintenance, and field management, becoming experts in all aspects of oil and gas mining.
In 2015, Justin purchased B&B Roustabout, carrying forward the company’s legacy while expanding its capabilities and reach. AJ joined B&B in 2010, quickly becoming an integral part of the team. His leadership and expertise helped drive the company's success, leading to his acquisition of an ownership stake in 2022.
Today, Justin and AJ continue to grow B&B Roustabout, delivering top-tier oilfield services across Utah, Wyoming, North Dakota, and Colorado.
